Project Kids & Cameras
A unique photography workshop designed for Regent Park kids in Grades 3-6.
Capture the HEART of Regent Park with digital cameras, journal entries, and photographs you print in class!
This project will culminate in a community-wide photo exhibit and celebration at Daniels Spectrum showcasing the participants’ photographs and writings.
Project Kids & Cameras will run for 6 sessions, consecutive Saturdays, from April 2017 to June 2017 (with the exception of no class on May 20, the Victoria Day weekend), from 10 am to 12:30 pm.

Location: ArtHeart Community Art Centre at 585 Dundas St. E, Studio 210
The program is FREE to those young participants who can meet the following criteria.
- MUST be a youth in grades 3-6 who resides in Regent Park and/or any surrounding priority neighbourhoods.
- MUST be a new registrant.
- MUST have an interest in PHOTOGRAPHY, but no experience is required.
- MUST be able to attend at least 5 of the 6 workshop dates.
- Can COMMIT to attend the Photo Exhibit to be scheduled in June 2017.
The program is open to youth from all backgrounds, but priority is given to low-income, newcomer, and Aboriginal youth. Snacks will be provided.

Project Kids & Cameras Registration
Please fill out the form below to register your child. Acceptance is first-come, first served, and space is limited. Once we are full, your child will be added to a waiting list. You will be notified if your child is confirmed as a participant by April 21, 2017. If you prefer, you may download the registration form and submit it to ArtHeart in person.
